Warfelix is a medication that belongs to the class of anticoagulants or blood thinners. Warfelix is commonly prescribed to prevent blood clots and reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, and other cardiovascular problems in people with certain medical conditions such as atrial fibrillation, deep vein thrombosis, and pulmonary embolism.

Warfelix works by interfering with the production of certain clotting factors in the blood, which prevents blood from clotting easily. Warfelix is usually taken orally, once a day at the same time, and the dose is adjusted based on regular blood tests to ensure that the blood is not too thin or too thick.
