Repaglinide is an oral hypoglycemic medication that belongs to the class of drugs known as meglitinides. Rapiglinide VOG works by stimulating the release of insulin from the pancreas, Rapiglinide VOG helps to lower blood sugar levels after a meal. Voglibose is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that works by slowing down the breakdown and absorption of carbohydrates in the small intestine, leading to a slower and more gradual increase in blood sugar levels after a meal. Voglibose is taken Rapiglinide VOG meals to help control postprandial hyperglycemia.
Both medications can be used alone or in combination with other medications, such as metformin, to help control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes.
